Valamayo Social was founded by Fernando Tamayo in 2018.  He has over 30 years of experience in corporate marketing for several major brands.  The name Valamayo is a combination of Fernando’s wife’s last name, Valadez, and Fernando’s last name, Tamayo.  Their love for each other and all things creative sparked the concept for Val-a-mayo.

After Fernando retired from corporate marketing, family and friends reached out for marketing help.  Fernando did many “complimentary” jobs until his wife encouraged him to start billing for his services.  Valamayo Social was born to further his passion for helping small, local businesses grow through affordable marketing services, including creating websites and social media content.
